About me

Esquire Henry is a driven individual committed to continuous learning, integrity, and excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from the University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus, where he graduated with first-class honors and has served as Guild Vice President. He also earned an associate degree in social sciences from Antigua State College, graduating with high honors and at the top of his faculty.

Esquire is a passionate youth advocate and community leader known for his impactful contributions to youth empowerment, climate action, education, and public health. His commitment is exemplified through a myriad of local initiatives, including empowering youths, donating feminine sanitary products to schools, providing vouchers and food packages to families in need, facilitating scholarships and back-to-school packages, and organizing climate-related activities and workshops.

Esquire's influence extends beyond his local community. He serves as a National and CARICOM Youth Ambassador for Antigua and Barbuda and a member of the Caribbean Development Bank’s Future Leaders’ Network. He has also served two terms as a member of the United Nations Youth Advisory Group for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean and four years as the NYPAAB Youth Parliamentarian for All Saints East and St. Luke.

Henry’s humanitarian efforts, advocacy, and environmental contributions have earned him several awards, including the 2023 Department of Youth Affairs National Youth Awards for Community Service and Young Activism and the 2022 Halo Hero Humanitarian Award, endorsed by Their Excellencies the Governor General and the Governor General’s Goodwill Emissary of Antigua and Barbuda. He has also made significant contributions globally, representing Antigua and Barbuda at events such as the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum and on the SIDS 4 CYAS Steering Committee.

Mr. Henry values the African proverb, "An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep." He believes that it is essential for individuals to strive for excellence in their passions.
